Rules of Engagement

Each participant in a Yearlong Program is asked to agree to the Rules of Engagement below.
  • Commit to the process over time (miss no more than one session). This is a small group and everyone is important to building the cohesiveness and trust. If you must miss more than one session, we ask that you drop out.
  • Arrive on time; being late is disrespectful to other participants, is a not a positive leadership move and impacts your reputation and integrity with the group.
  • Participate fully, in order to build trust this means a willingness to share openly and honestly, challenge your own assumptions and provide feedback as requested.
  • Keep confidentiality; you will learn very confidential information about individuals and organizations, be sure it stays in the room and is not repeated.
  • Meet with a new member of the group between each session.
  • Practice generous listening.
  • Pay it forward, share with your staff (and colleagues) whatever you are learning.
  • Provide a written evaluation (and if desired, a quote to pass on to potential new participants).
  • Enroll a participant in the next session (if you find the process valuable).
  • Attend the sessions. If you miss more than one session without being excused, we ask that you withdraw from the group.  No refunds will be made.
